Obtain Referral

If you notice early signs of autism such as problems with communication, social interactions and/or repetitive behaviors, contact your pediatrician. An initial screening will occur to assess the possibility of developmental issues. Followed by a formal diagnosis and recommendation for treatment.

Obtaining Documentations

Prior to beginning services, insurance requires specific documentation. Please fax or email the diagnostic report for autism, doctors prescription, front and back image of your insurance card.

Request for services

The diagnostic report will then be sent to your insurance by BTSPEC for preauthorization. Once approval, the BCBA will set a time and date to complete the FBA in your home/ clinic. The BCBA will observe and asses your child's skills as well as discuss areas of concerns.

Treatment Plan

A written report will be completed. This will include goals tailored to your child's needs such as communication, social skills, adaptive behavior and reduction of challenging behaviors. The treatment will be a collaborative effort between the BCBA and the parent. Once completed, the report will be sent to insurance for approval. After approval, services can begin.
